DotComKu.com is a site where dot com owners/creators can share with every­one what their sites are all about. Sort of like a site review, but by the own­ers of the site. Read­ers can then give their com­ments as a review, as inputs for the site, or just sim­ply to show sup­port for the dot com. This is where dot com owners/creators can share behind the scene sto­ries about how their dot com came about and how it progressed.

Dot­ComKu in Eng­lish would mean “My Dot Com”, “Ku” in Indone­sian means “My”. I chose it cos I’m Indone­sian… and also because “mydotcom.com” was not avail­able

I’ve been fas­ci­nated by the World Wide Web ever since I started using it back in col­lege.. my wife thinks I’m a Net Addict.. But really I’m just curi­ous.. hahaha.. So many inter­est­ing web­sites out there and every­one has their views on it.. but I’m always curi­ous to know how the site came about, what was the idea behind it, why the name, and how did it succeed/fail.. and many more ques­tions.. So I thought the best way to get all the answers is to get it direct from the own­ers of the site.. Usu­ally I read these sto­ries from mag­a­zines.. but how many sto­ries can I get from mag­a­zines??.. not to men­tion the cost of get­ting all those magazines..

Dot­ComKu is set up to archive as many dot com sto­ries as pos­si­ble, directly from the own­ers.. and in plain, non polit­i­cal, uncom­pli­cated, eng­lish lan­guage, that every­one can understand!
